The third staff spotlight for Hispanic Heritage Month is on our equipment manager Jose Solorzano. Calm, humble, and always willing to give a helping hand, Mr. Solorzano is #BulldogSTRONG!

The second staff spotlight for Hispanic Heritage Month is on counselor Ramon Cardenas. For all of his efforts in helping students at GVHS, Mr. Cardenas is #BulldogSTRONG!

In addition to the creative videos that our leadership students in charge of Cultural Activities have created to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, we will also be showcasing staff members who are of Hispanic heritage. Thank you to Gaby Ruvalcaba for her hard work to organize and create slides on each of our staff members that will be represented. The first spotlight is on our Bilingual Technician, Eutimia Madrid. Mrs. Madrid is #BulldogSTRONG!

The Kern High School District Board of Trustees voted to begin the 2020-2021 school year for all schools, including GVHS, in a distance learning model at a special board meeting held on Wednesday, July 15.
