Plans After High School: Manit plans to attend the University of California, Berkeley and major in Molecular & Cell Biology. Manit has an interest in the field of biology and hopes to pursue a career that involves studying the structure and function of cells and genetics.

What Makes Manit #BulldogSTRONG: Holding the top ranking in a graduating class is a testament to a student's academic abilities and leadership skills. Manit's hard work, dedication, and academic excellence have paid off; she is ranked first in her graduating class. This accomplishment is just the beginning of what Manit can achieve; as she moves forward in her academic and professional journey, she plans to continue working hard, staying focused, and pursuing her passion for Biology. Manit's experiences at Golden Valley have helped her to grow academically and personally, as well as develop lasting friendships. These experiences have shaped her into who she is today, and her teachers have no doubt that she will achieve great things in the future. Graduating from high school is a bittersweet experience for Manit as she says goodbye to the familiar surroundings and prepares to embark on a new and exciting chapter in her life; she will remember the skills, knowledge, and memories she gained at Golden Valley. Manit participated in We the People and Interact Club. By participating in We the People, Manit gained a deeper understanding of the principles of American democracy and the rights and responsibilities of citizens in a democratic society. Manit comments, "We the People has shaped me into a different person because I received a better understanding of how the governmental system works and the important responsibilities I have as a citizen. This class has also sharpened my public-speaking skills. I will never forget that my unit and the We the People team as a whole won second place in the county and moved on to the State Finals." As a member of the Interact Club, Manit participated in community service projects to positively impacted her community. She gained valuable communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills while also making a difference in the lives of others. Manit's involvement in these clubs demonstrates her commitment to learning, leadership, and community service. Golden Valley teachers have been influential in Manit's life. Teachers can play a critical role in shaping students' academic and personal development, and it's clear that Mr. Hansen and Mrs. Bastain have made a significant impact on Manit. Mr. Hansen's positive and uplifting personality is an asset in the classroom, and he has been able to make learning fun and engaging for Manit through his jokes and entertaining approach. Mr. Hansen has helped Manit develop a lifelong love of learning. Manit comments, "Mr. Hansen has such a positive and uplifting personality, and he makes lessons more entertaining with his jokes." Mrs. Bastain's impact on Manit's writing and reading skills is another testament to the importance of great teachers. Mrs. Bastain's dedication to helping Manit improve her writing and develop a love for reading books is a true gift and one that will serve Manit well in many areas of her life. Manit comments, "Mrs. Bastain has greatly helped to improve my writing and built my love for reading books." Manit feels fortunate to have such wonderful teachers at Golden Valley.
