Aliana Lefotu Earns 5th Place at CIF State Wrestling Tournament

1
Throughout the entire three-day tournament, Aliana Lefotu went 6-2 and finished in 5th place overall. Aliana had her fair share of pins and some epic matches including a four-overtime match in which she fell just short. Throughout her journey at the State Wrestling Tournament, Aliana received coverage from the likes of the Kern High Network and Trackwrestling. Below are videos from the Kern High Network, the points from her first match on Day 3, and the points from her 5th place on Day 3 as well. Shout out to Coach Juan Gamino and Bryn Bruno. Both gentlemen have done a great job with the direction of our Lady Bulldogs Wrestling Program as they have put in many hours in the wrestling room, in the vans on the way to wrestling tournaments, and in preparing our girls for success as the Lady Bulldogs are an elite wrestling program in all of California. The efforts of our coaches do not go unnoticed. Oh, yeah – Aliana is just a junior, so watch out, we may just have a state title at Golden Valley next year.
